You can still walk on it or move it

Stable Fracture management: immobilization of affected area

Referral to the Fracture Clinic

GO TO THE ER DEPARTMENT

Sedation
-
GNPC does NOT perform bone reductions (if you need the bone pulled back into place you must go to the ER)
-
Serious Head injuries
-
Amputations and partial amputations
-
Any open wound at or near a broken bone site
-
Any more than ONE limb with a broken bone
-
If immobilizing a lower limb will result in you needing a wheelchair
-
Broken bones at or above the knee
-
Children under 6 years of age will ONLY be evaluated at GNPC for finger or toe fractures that DO NOT involve the nail
-
If it looks DEFORMED go to ER
